Freakwater at the Crocodile Cafe My wife and I and about sixty other people saw the band on a Tuesday night in New Orleans about four years ago. They were really good and had had car trouble so they were thankful just to have made it. I would guess that would be the Old Paint Tour. They were a four piece with the bassist from the previous albums. There was another guitarist whom they let sing a song which was quite good. It was a hot night but they were into it. I remember thinking that the bassist must've been smacked out or something, he looked awful and inert. But after the show he was very animated and talkative and a rather groovy fellow all around. He had some live discs from Europe that he was selling, I would love to know of those or the first unfindable album. FRan
